Driving resources and innovation towards a world where every child and young person thrives
Sanjana joins Ashoka Canada to manage the search and selection process of leading social entrepreneurs in Canada into the global Ashoka Fellowship. Prior to this, she managed the Ashoka Fellowship in Southern Africa, and has worked on Ashoka’s programs in youth and education in India and Southern Africa, triggering collaboration on topics like empathy-based education, nutrition and changemaking. She hopes to continue driving resources and innovation towards a world where every child and young person thrives.
Sanjana has an MSc in Media and Communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MA in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She currently resides on the traditional territories in the Mississaugas of the Credit, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee and Wendat peoples (Toronto). When not chasing down the next biggest innovation, she can be found hiking to top of the nearest mountain, or in the nearest dog-park with her three-year old german shepherd.
