Manager, Social Impact – RBC Future Launch
RBC’s purpose is to help clients thrive and communities prosper. Kate leads a team that brings our purpose to life through RBC Future Launch, making strategic investments in charitable programs that help young people gain skills, grow their networks, and get practical work experience and support for mental wellbeing.
Kate Gatto (she/her) is a third generation settler to Turtle Island, born and raised on Treaty 13 Territory in Toronto, where she currently lives with her family. She is committed to working with a diversity of partners to address systemic challenges through collaborative cross-sectoral action, and is inspired by the power of community.
Kate is currently a Manager of Social Impact with Future Launch at RBC, where she works in partnership with national youth-serving organizations, contributes to thought leadership in education, and manages RBC’s suite of Future Launch Scholarships. She is motivated by the exciting work RBC and community partners are undertaking through Future Launch, and the transformative results of this work that are driving deep social change.
In addition to her work at RBC, Kate volunteers as a Board Member at People for Education, and is Co-Chair of the Rawlinson Community School Council.
