Dani DeBoice

Senior Advisor, Community Investment

As a born and raised Calgarian, Dani DeBoice has witnessed Calgary grow and change over the years. She believes passionately in citizen engagement and the power of grassroots initiatives to shift society and progress cultural change. Dani joined Suncor and Suncor Energy Foundation team as a Senior Community Investment Advisor in January 2015. Dani leads the Indigenous Peoples strategic funding priority with a goal to learn from and with Indigenous Peoples to accelerate a reconciliation mindset, youth engagement and Indigenous-led pathways to success. She works collaboratively with multiple partners around complex social issues and supports the Indigenous Youth Advisory Council. Previously, as director of corporate citizenship for over 11 years with First Calgary Financial, a local credit union, Dani provided leadership on community investment, employee involvement, environmental advocacy and corporate social responsibility.
